My Art
Drawing, painting, inking: you name it, I've probably done it.

Daphne

This is my favorite piece I've ever created. Inspired by the statue "Apollo and Daphne", this piece shows Daphne's point of view of being, well...chased across the Earth by Apollo and turned into a tree by Zeus. The mediums I used were watercolors, colored pencil, ink, and metallic paint.

Art

Faces

This piece is the result of artistic reckless abandon; I sat down with my supplies and started scribbling. Using colored pencils and ink, I rough-sketched the outline of many faces, meant to represent the arsenal of masks we all carry with us.

Art

Loneliness

This piece was a challenge (because it is not my usual art style), but I ended up being very happy with it. This piece is called "Loneliness" and it's supposed to embody that empty feeling that you get when you realize that you only have your tears to comfort you. I used colored pencils, glitter, and layered paper for this project.

Art

Life Tree

I created this for our "coloring page" unit in drawing class, and it ended up making the front cover of our coloring book. I used ink to draw this, and my inspiration was a mythical, magical life tree that fairies might live in.
